GuyKat Solutions Ltd. respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the data we may hold about you. We also intend to be trusted and respectful guardians of any such data. Our intention is to hold ourselves to a higher standard than that legally required by the GDPR legislation. This privacy policy was last updated in April 2018, and may be updated from time to time either as new legislative requirements come in to force, or if we judge that we can hold ourselves to even higher standards.

 

  1.    Information we collect

With your permission GuyKat Solutions Ltd. may collect personally identifiable information about you, such as your full name, phone number and email address. This may occur when we have come into contact with you, such as at trade shows or through work we have completed for you as our client. For marketing purposes, we may also obtain some personally identifiable data from third parties. We will only ever use a third party supplier of data where all of their data has been collected with valid and up to date consent, and has been identified to have legitimate interest in the services we provide. If you would like to learn more about our third party suppliers, and their privacy policies, these are available upon request. We also collect data of those who have actively clicked on our marketing materials, whether these are distributed via our company website, social media, or other channels.

 

  1.    How we use your information

We use the information that we collect in order to contact potential, former and current clients who have a legitimate interest in our services. This includes marketing communications such as email (where an email address has been given), telephone (where a telephone number is given) and postal (where a current, up-to-date address is given).   1.    How we share your personally identifiable information

GuyKat Solutions Ltd. do not, and never will, rent or sell your personally identifiable information to others. We may store personal information on our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. If you wish to learn more about the CRM platform we use, and access their privacy policy, then this is available on request. Any personal information you elect to make publicly available, such as social media comments, will be available for others to see. If you remove information that you have made public on our site or other pages, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of our site, or if other users have copied and saved that information. We do not have control over information you post on third party websites, and you will have to log into these websites in order to delete your own comments or personal information.   1.    Storage and Processing

Your information collected by GuyKat Solutions Ltd. may be stored on internal databases or our online CRM account. We will store information for a maximum of 10 years from the last point of contact with the relevant party (the individual). If you wish to see, change, or remove the data which GuyKat Solutions Ltd. has stored, then get in contact with us and we will complete the necessary actions within 30 days.

 

  1.    How we define Legitimate Interest

GuyKat Solutions Ltd. defines legitimate interest from five criteria. In order for GuyKat to store your personally identifiable information, you must meet at least one of these five criteria:

–          You are an HR Decision Maker or Learning and Development professional

–          You are a former or current client of GuyKat Solutions Ltd.

–          You have had contact with GuyKat Solutions Ltd. at a Learning and Development event including, but not limited to, Learning Technologies or Docebo Inspire and agreed to share your data.

–          We obtained your information from a third party source which identifies you as a person of legitimate interest to our business.

–          You have actively clicked on our marketing material including, but not limited to, content on our company website, blog, social media or email communications.

 

  1.    For E.U. Clients

GuyKat Solutions Ltd. complies with the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC framework as set forth by the European Union regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland. GuyKat Solutions Ltd. has certified that it meets the requirements of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access and enforcement.

 

A note about website cookies:

The underlying technology upon which our website is built is WordPress. The ‘cookies’ currently used on our website are those for general analytical purposes – specifically we use google analytics and WordPress analytical tools. WordPress also creates cookies for logged in users and commenters for preferences (such as account name and language) and verification. This is not personally identifiable data. Casual visitors to our website are not required to login and therefore are unaffected by the deeper WordPress cookies.

 

We have no direct control over cookies created by third party websites accessed through our website. Due to this, cookies may be used by these websites to track online activity.

 

WordPress also collects performance cookies on how users interact with our website including number of visitors and page views, to enhance the user experience.
